Step 1 - Setting up your child's new iPad
Step 2 - Apple IDs and Family Sharing
Student iPads are required to be setup with an individual Apple ID. Our preferred option is to establish your child's Apple ID via Apple Family Sharing. Refer to the following links for further information:
Step 3 - Onboarding your Student's iPad to FVSSC
Student iPads are required to be registered in our Mobile Device Manager Intune. Intune provides a simple onboarding process that enables your child's iPad to seamlessly connect to our wireless network and access our digital resources.
Please refer to the information below to register your child's device.
Please note - if your child is already enrolled at FVSSC and knows their school username and password, they will be able to successfully follow the below onboarding guides to get their iPad set up at FVSSC.
For new families (either you're enrolling your child at the start of a new school year OR throughout the school year) - you will need to be provided your child's username and password in order to complete the onboarding steps at home.
For new Year 7 families specifically starting Day 1 Term 1, the college's I.T Department will email you your child's username and temporary password in order for you to successfully follow the below Registering guide. Emailing will automatically occur sometime in the week, leading up to Day 1 in January.
